Workshop Days

These workshop days are crafted for your church or group to book David Cassian to come to you, or lead them via Zoom, to teach the topic given. Although they are pre-created, they can be adjusted to suit your own group. Through initial contact with David Cassian, you can decide whether the way they are set out would work for you, or whether you would like specific elements to be of a greater or lesser prominence in the day. We can also create a completely unique day for your group on many other topics if you would prefer. The days themselves run from 10am to 4pm, and include times of teaching, discussion, and contemplation.

Workshops

More than meets the I:

Living beyond the Ego

The Apostle Paul said “it is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me”. What was the ‘I’ he was talking about? And what does the Christ living in us actually mean?

Come to this day and learn how to transcend the ego and live in a higher state of conscious awareness which draws you deeper into the Divine reality without you and beyond you.

Divine Nature

A day discovering how to encounter and engage with the Divine in and through the natural world, taking examples and teachings from scripture and Christians throughout the ages.

Celtic Christianity

Come along to this introduction day to what is commonly called ‘Celtic Christianity’. Did it exist? If so, what was it? And why is it so popular today? Learn more about the Christian history of Britain and Ireland, in this one day workshop.

First Steps on the Contemplative Path

Spend a day learning about the Christian heritage of the contemplative tradition, plus learning techniques and practices which will enable you to deepen your connection with God.

Kindfulness & Self-Compassion

In this workshop you will learn what it means to have compassion for yourself; learn how to like yourself; how to love yourself; and how to live with yourself. As you grow in these things, you will naturally become a more compassionate person, and kindfulness and compassion will flow out of you toward others.

Living in the Awareness of God

Discover a deeper connection with the Divine and learn how to become more fully aware of the Divine presence in every part of your everyday life.

Lives of the Celtic Saints
